The Game Arts minor studies digital games as a developing practice of visual and interactive art.  Students will study contemporary and historical games while creating their own using industry tools. This minor introduces the fundamentals of computer programming while focusing on original conceptual development, entrepreneurial arts practice, and digital art-making tools. This minor supports any student interested in creating digital interactive artwork or seeking a deeper understanding of one of the fastest-growing creative industries.
