The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management prepares students to lead within one of the nation's fastest-growing industries by combining business knowledge with an understanding of healthcare systems, policy, and ethical leadership. Students develop the management, financial, analytical, and communication skills needed to improve healthcare organizations while supporting quality patient care and operational excellence. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in hospitals, healthcare systems, clinics, insurance organizations, and other healthcare settings, as well as continued professional and graduate study.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of a degree in Healthcare Management, students will:

  • Achieve core business skills in functional areas.
  • Evaluate context and quality of health care delivery.
  • Understand legal and ethical issues in healthcare management.
  • Engage in field-specific research and statistical analysis.

Accreditation

The Tagliatela School of Business and Leadership at Albertus Magnus College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas, USA. The IACBE grants accreditation for business-related and accounting programs that are equivalent to an education at the U.S. post-secondary degree level.
