The Office of Community Standards provides programs and services designed to foster a positive and safe environment for student learning. The Office assists in maintaining the general welfare of the college community by promoting individual responsibility and personal growth. The Office supports Albertus Magnus College’s Dominican mission by enforcing regulations designed to promote an environment in which students can develop intellectually, morally, spiritually, and socially. The Associate Director of Community Standards is also available to assist individual students with counseling resources and referrals, or general student concerns. They can be contacted at communitystandards@albertus.edu.

The Office of Community Standards is responsible for working with students whose behavior is disruptive to the quality of life on campus. We believe in an educational, holistic approach to policy and procedure, valuing the whole person and their potential contributions to the community. As such, we use the four pillars of Study, Prayer, Community and Service as our guide in upholding campus expectations. For more information on the college’s conduct system, please refer to the Student Handbook, The Source or the Student Code of Conduct.
