In Albertus’s dual-credit program, eligible high school students who attend one of Albertus’s partner high schools have the opportunity to enroll in Albertus-approved courses as part of their regular high school experiences; taking courses in their high school during the school day. Students who successfully complete the course will receive Albertus college credit. Credits earned through Albertus are transferable to other institutions in alignment with their transfer credit policies.

Dual-credit courses offered by Albertus partners vary by high school, but typically are at the 100- or 200-level. Albertus’s dual-credit partners ensure that student information is transmitted to Albertus’s Registrar within two weeks of the start of the course. The fee per 3-credit course is $65. Each additional credit hour beyond 3-credits is assessed at $20.

Albertus Magnus College does not guarantee that credit awarded under this partnership will be accepted by other institutions of higher education for purposes of transfer credit and/or college admissions. Additionally, Albertus does not promise that credit earned under this partnership will apply to general education, major, or minor requirements of an established degree program at Albertus Magnus College. If a student decides to enroll at Albertus, the credit earned under this partnership will be part of their academic record and a determining factor in College’s satisfactory academic progress for purposes of grade-point-average and financial aid eligibility. All programs and policies are subject to change pursuant to institutional review procedures conducted annually.
