Practicum and Internship Support

Practicum and internship experiences provide students with opportunities to apply classroom learning in professional settings related to their academic and career interests. These experiences help students develop industry knowledge, strengthen professional competencies, and gain valuable hands-on experience.

The Office of Career & Professional Development supports students throughout the preparation process by assisting with career exploration, professional goal setting, résumé development, and readiness for field-based learning experiences. Students are encouraged to engage with the Office early in the planning process to maximize the value of their practicum or internship experience.
