Albertus Magnus College sponsors varsity athletic teams that compete in NCAA Division III and are affiliated with the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), United Collegiate Hockey Conference, City of New York Athletic Conference and the Northeat Women's Golf Conference.
Participation in intercollegiate athletics is limited to degree-seeking students in good academic standing who are enrolled full-time or are in their final semester of study in the Traditional Undergraduate Program. Graduate students who meet NCAA Division III eligibility requirements and are in good academic standing may also be eligible to participate in intercollegiate athletics.
Academic success is the primary responsibility of all student-athletes. Students are expected to attend all classes and complete all academic requirements.
When a conflict exists between a class and a scheduled practice, student-athletes are expected to attend class. When a conflict exists between a class and an official College-sponsored competition, student-athletes are responsible for notifying their instructors in advance and completing missed coursework in accordance with course and College policies.
Student-athletes who miss all classes for seven consecutive calendar days are not permitted to practice or compete until the Office of the Registrar confirms that they have resumed class attendance. Administrative withdrawal policies apply to all students.
