Technology is an integral part of teaching, learning, and campus life at Albertus Magnus College. Classrooms are equipped with internet access and instructional technology, including projection systems, audio/visual equipment, and interactive presentation tools. Wireless internet access is available throughout campus, including academic buildings and residence halls.

Students are strongly encouraged to have regular access to a personal laptop or desktop computer capable of supporting the technology requirements of their academic program. Public computers are available in designated computer laboratories, the Library, and other campus locations for student academic use.

Students are responsible for maintaining access to their College email account, which serves as the official means of communication between the College and students. Students are also responsible for maintaining the security of their personal devices and College login credentials.

Use of College computers, networks, internet services, software, and other technology resources is governed by the College's Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable federal and state laws. Users are expected to use technology resources responsibly, respect the privacy and intellectual property rights of others, safeguard confidential information, and comply with software licensing agreements. Misuse of College technology resources may result in the suspension of technology privileges, disciplinary action, and other sanctions as appropriate.

Some courses and academic programs may have additional technology or software requirements. Students should consult their program or course syllabi for specific hardware, software, or equipment expectations.
