Academic Review is intended to support students who have been reinstated following an approved academic dismissal appeal. It is not a disciplinary action but serves as a structured period of academic support, monitoring, and academic improvement. Students placed on Academic Review are not considered to be in good academic standing.
Students placed on Academic Review are subject to the following requirements:
- Complete a remediation plan developed in consultation with the Program Director or other designated academic representative;
- Earn a grade of B (3.0) or higher in every course completed during the review period;
- Raise and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0; and
- Comply with any additional academic conditions established through the Academic Review process.
Students remain on Academic Review until they regain good academic standing and satisfy all applicable Academic Review requirements.
A student on Academic Review who earns a review-period GPA below 3.0 or receives a course grade below B- (2.7) will be academically dismissed from the program.
