Good academic standing indicates that a graduate student is making satisfactory academic progress toward degree completion and is eligible to continue enrollment without academic restriction.

A student is considered to be in good academic standing when the student:

  • Maintains a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0; and
  • Has earned no more than two (2) course grades of 2.0 (C) or below.

Students must remain in good academic standing to continue in their academic program, register for a capstone, thesis, internship, practicum, or other culminating experience, and graduate from the College.

Students who fail to meet these standards are no longer considered to be in good academic standing and will be subject to the College's Academic Standing policies, including Academic Review and, when applicable, Academic Dismissal.
