Students may withdraw from a course during the official withdrawal period by submitting a completed Withdrawal Form. For 6- and 8-week courses, the withdrawal period begins on the Monday of the second week of the course and continues through the last day of class.

Week 1 (Add/Drop Period)
Courses may be added or dropped during the add/drop period. No withdrawal grade is recorded.

Weeks 2–4
Students who officially withdraw by submitting a Withdrawal Form will receive a grade of W. Students who are administratively withdrawn by the College during this period will receive a grade of WA.

Weeks 5–End of Course
Students who officially withdraw by submitting a Withdrawal Form will receive a grade of W. Students who are administratively withdrawn by the College during this period will receive a grade of UF (unearned F).

A student may petition the instructor to change a UF grade to a WF. Any UF grade must be resolved by the last day of the module in which it is recorded.

Failure to attend class does not constitute an official withdrawal. Students remain responsible for completing the withdrawal process and should be aware that withdrawing from a course may affect financial aid eligibility, academic standing, and progress toward degree completion.

Students should consult the Academic Calendar for the applicable deadline.

Note: Semester-long courses follow the withdrawal policy published in the Traditional Undergraduate Program Catalog.
