Admission into the Honors Program as an incoming first-year student is by invitation, based on a review of all application materials. Full-time students at the College can elect to join the Honors Program after their first semester by earning a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and submitting an application.

The Honors Program offers a range of valuable opportunities for ambitious undergraduate students, aligned with the Four Dominican Pillars of Study, Prayer, Community, and Service. These include early registration for courses, the chance to engage in one-on-one collaborative research with faculty, support when applying for nationally-competitive scholarships, cultural and culinary excursions in and around New Haven, and regular general meetings where members grow together as an Honors community.

In order to graduate from the Honors Program, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and complete all academic and enrichment requirements.
